Toolfreak - 3-10-2016 at 12:17 AM

Hi I am heading to Ojo de libre on Wednesday will spend a couple of days their than head to BOLA. Does any know if their are any swim clubs or gymnastics clubs on the way that I can pay a drop in fee and my children can train?

Ummm... I think I saw a zumba class in Vizcaino once?

Unless you're in Tijuana or Cabo, I think the kids are going to have to take up cactus vaulting and whale races, sorry. It's f&@#ing Baja.

Hard to say on that route. For me, it's a tossup between the Laguna Chapala Spa and the Catavina Golf and Country Club.

I believe if you pay the posted public green fee at Catavina G&CC they will give you access to all of the club amenities for the day. It's Mexico, so don't expect perfection, but I think most of this forum would agree they're the best in town.

Laguna Chapala is nice on a weekday; in fact, this time of year you're likely to have it to yourself.

You can also try "Punta Prieta Spa and Resort", great facilities and excellent training staff... ;D

Train? They can climb boulders. Do sprints on the dirt roads. Swim in the gulf. Walk 50 miles. Take bicycles and ride offroad - not on Mex 1. Climb a mountain. Train for what?

Once again the comedians strike...To answer your question, No you will not find what your looking for...But they could swim at the Bay of LA.. I was there 2 weeks ago, water temp in the high 60's...

Why not have the nanny arrange such pedestrian activities....?

If they are athletes talk to their coach, or trainer and get so things for them to do. How about a little cross training. There is a pool at Catavina, it is not a lap pool. The ocean both side will be cold to swimming without a wetsuit.

How do I get a starting time at the golf course in Catavina?
