(Hopefully, found a person traveling San Diego-San Felipe and back who can help....)
A musician friend was performing in San Felipe recently, and left his computer at a friend's house.
If anyone is heading back to San Diego from San Felipe, or even crossing and can carry it over to return it to him in Calexico, it would save him a
lot of time, money and headaches crossing the border.
He's an entrepreneur, and needs his computer ASAP. He's a talented musician & good friend of many years, who plays "Trop Rock" (Parrothead/beach
style music") all over the country. He needs his computer to promote his music, schedule gigs, stay in touch with fans, etc.
Please let me know if anyone is available for transporting his computer to Calexico or - ideally- San Diego this week. (Details can be provided via
U2U)
I'm hoping to help him via the Nomad Network.
Mil Gracias!

There must be a san felipe site? Seems like you would have much more luck talking directly to those residents?
who plays "Trop Rock" (Parrothead/beach style music")
Never heard of that genre. Sounds interesting. No insult to parrotheads intended, but do you know some names of trop rock musicians who have recorded
in this century?

Off the top of my head: Tropical Rock... popular in Florida and the Keys especially... Has some Reggae influence too.
That group that played in Meet the Fockers at the party, for example. Whale-ista - 3-21-2016 at 09:39 PM
Blanca- thanks. I'll try elsewhere.
Yes, he plays mostly in FL/Keys, is here for a few weeks before migrating back east.
Not sure about recordings...he plays covers, but also original acoustic guitar ballads, classic Croce...talented guy, tough to make a living as a

If you are a fan of Trop. Rock then you do know the names of musicians that have recorded "this century". LOL! You would be amazed at the number. I
enjoy this kind of music and have listened to it for a long time. As a "Parrot head" I"m not insulted. Jimmy Buffett concerts/Trop Rock Festivals are
a good time! http://www.beachfrontradio.com/trop-rock-artistschuckie - 3-23-2016 at 07:04 AM
Notice how quick Nomads responded to help this person? By the 3rd post, the subject was totally lost, switched to a music discussion...ATTA BOYSvillafontana - 3-24-2016 at 07:03 PM
