Last week we took a break for some home remodeling and ventured over to Tucson for 4 days. I got to day hike Sabino Canyon and we day tripped over to
the Bisbee area.
The hike was 8 miles round trip along a creek. Nice moderate hike at 3,000' to 4000', best done from Nov. to early April. The wildflowers were
showing off.
when I got back to the trailhead this little fellow stayed around long enough to get a few pictures, always a treat to spy a Cardinal in the desert.
Before having our dinner at El Charro in Old Tucson, we walked around the adjacent neighborhood famous for its colorful houses......Dinner was
excellent, by the way.

Nice... go there a couple times a year to visit my daughter and granddaughter.
Nice desert hikes just north of town...
Nice big park in the middle of town, too...

Before I retired, we used to take visitor/customers to El Charo. Nice food and always a good area to visit.

Love their Carne Seca, something I have not found in San Diego. It would be on my regular rotation if I lived in Tucson.
