Travelling on Easter sunday

fandango - 3-26-2016 at 12:24 PM

I'm thinking about heading south Sunday morning. Crossing at chaparral at 630am on my way to punta Banda.
How do you think traffic will be?

Close to nothing going south.

fandango - 3-26-2016 at 12:31 PM

That's what I'm thinking.
Thanks DENNIS

You'll be awfully lonely out there

fandango - 3-26-2016 at 12:44 PM

Excellent.

Hope it's that way heading north also

and apparently the closing of the Chaparral exit towards Playas/ Ensenada toll road doesn't happen until monday AM (so i heard, but....)

I hope the border fence road is open on Sunday also. Wonder if the border agents will know anything. I don't like crossing the border and not knowing how the traffic is on that road until you are over the river and committed.

Tecate road south would be a pleasant drive.

fandango - 3-26-2016 at 07:51 PM

That is a nice drive. I used that route up to tecate then over to otay on the cuota when the toll road was down. Not this time though.

Check your u2u.
