Looking at about 4to5 days before we cross to mainland .We want to see whales and also go up to see cliff paintings near Mulage Any info for cheap
rooms and points of interrest along the way. Plus how should we break up the bus trip. Thank you Bob

Cheap hotels everywhere > $38/night.
Office for cave tours downtown.
Boats for whalewatching more difficult > no whale around @ this time.
(They are all in La Paz > going chopping at the new City Club)
Have fun anyway.

Maybe you can stop one night in San Ignacio and check out the rice and beans and go whale watching . and then go to Mulege for the cave painting trip.

Try not to plan a stop in Catavina. The only bus out that we get came through at 3:30 AM and it was hard to work around that , plus you really need
wheels for that area. Most stops will have taxis just waiting to take you whereever you want and folks are most helpful. Los Barriles might be an
exception. The bus stops on the highway and we didn?t see any taxis. Have fun it?s a blast. Annie
