How safe is it to leave your plane at the San Felipe Airport ?

. . .From personal experience. . .Plane was not stolen, but, broken into ( door locks picked ) by the military that reside on field ( my opine ). . .I
noticed slight anomalies on a preflight after spending night in SF. . .What was stolen was about 1 car tank of gas ( 20 gallons ), all flashlights,
music & player, batteries & other minor stuff. . .Had more secure locks installed after that. . . If I were not so anal I would not have
noticed their actions, , ,1994. . .But they do the same here & there, , , Go & enjoy your trip but DO NOT leave anything valuable in the
plane. . .Baja is " As Good As It Gets". . .Been to most of the other places / airports & nothing bad to report. . .Other than sometimes had a
hard time getting fuel!!!!. . .Go & enjoy. . .
