I believe that this thread is mis-titled, Cisco. The article linked is about "violence against women in Mexico", mostly sexual violence and abuse,
and not about "women's rights in Mexico" in general.
Touchy subject when cultural issues like "women's rights" are addressed, but gender/sexual violence is appalling no matter where it happens (as is
child-abuse), and this info and the findings are important and should be addressed out in the open, IMO, for ALL to see and ponder, and hopefully
eliminate.
Thanks for posting, and addressing this issue.
