Hello everyone
Does anyone know if there is a charter out of Ensenada going to Guadalupe fishing?ThanksUdo - 4-26-2016 at 07:04 PM
Are you talking about Guadalupe Island?dpf33a - 4-27-2016 at 11:07 AM
yes Guadalupe island.Thanks toronja - 4-27-2016 at 11:23 AM
Most of the companies I read about were out of San Diego (just a quick google search). Let us know what you find. It's typically an overnight/several
day trip, so you're looking for a larger operation and they will likely have info posted online.BigBearRider - 4-27-2016 at 12:18 PM
I seem to recall that my last fishing guide out of Ensenada had a t-shirt from Guadalupe Island on him. Maybe call Sergio's Sport Fishing and ask?MMc - 4-27-2016 at 12:24 PM
There are Sport boats from San Diego, they leave SD check in at Ensenada and then go to the island. Most are 5 day trips. Check the landings willardguy - 4-27-2016 at 12:49 PM
I haven't seen anything at the docks I would EVER take a chance going 100 miles offshore in! Udo - 4-27-2016 at 08:06 PM
I think bajagringo could chime in here, but I seem to hear through the Baja grapevine that there is at least one charter that leaves from San Quintin.
It's a lot closer than leaving from San Diego.BornFisher - 4-27-2016 at 08:31 PM
Shogun out of San Diego fished it last November. Hard to get permits, so few trips. One beautiful island, way out there!ehall - 4-28-2016 at 08:10 AM
Stay in the boat. Big blue lives out there.durrelllrobert - 4-28-2016 at 09:58 AM
Alternative trip for shark watching: http://www.greatwhitesharkinfo.com/getting_there.html - Our guests are escorted in comfort aboard an air-conditioned coach from San Diego to
Ensenada. We pick you up at 9AM on Day 1 from a central San Diego location and , once we clear the US/Mexican border at Tijuana, it’s a 1 1⁄2
hour scenic drive down the coastline of northern Baja. Solmar V departs Cruiseport Marinaat approximately noon for Guadalupe Island.
We arrive Guadalupe Island on Day 2 in the early morning, which gives us plenty of time to get the shark cages in the water and begin your
unforgettable adventure. Our cages are in the water from sunrise to sunset on Day 2, 3 and 4.durrelllrobert - 4-28-2016 at 10:13 AM
Another option is to fly directly from Brown Field (near Otay border crossing) to Cedros Island: cedrosoutdooradventures.com/ and then get a boat from there to Guadalupe.BigBearRider - 4-28-2016 at 10:34 AM

There is a runway on Guadalupe Island. Is it for military use only?MMc - 4-28-2016 at 11:52 AM
They fly the lobsters off the island. Check Baja Bush Pilots. www.bajabushpilots.com/ woody with a view - 4-29-2016 at 10:25 AM
Fly to Cedros and get a boat which does not require a runway!Doug/Vamonos - 5-5-2016 at 06:09 AM
Lots of huge whities swimming in those waters! I'd want to be aboard a nice, big San Diego boat.
