Carrying his catch back to the camp...it looks like an out take from 'Survivor, Techno Island'!

It looks like a lot of fun, but I will bet it has folks all over searching through the fishing regs right now.

I watched a guy kite fishing from the Oceanside pier. Got his tackel/ bait out way past start of surf and let it drop.

I had thought of doing this from my boat offshore when the tuna pop up and are feeding on the surface but upwind of you.
You have to buy a pretty good quad copter to be able to pull the line, weight and bait to where you need it.
Nice to see it in action. Might have to give it more consideration.

There are a few states that have outlawed using the drones for hunting. Much too effective at night with infrared cameras.

It would be fun to use one without a hook attached. The camera alone is a huge advantage. Wonder how far the signal carries?
