Loreto boat storage July-October, 2016

gallesram - 5-11-2016 at 02:21 PM

I have a 22' Maxum I/O ski boat that I'm looking to store in Loreto this summer. Stern to front tip of the trailer is about 26'. The boat lives in Mulege during the year but am considering exploring the Loreto area this summer (and avoid risks of the river flooding in Mulege). Looking for something enclosed and secure; I keep a car at Loreto Storage but storing a boat there is $$$. Would be grateful for any suggestions/ideas.

Boat storage in Loreto

Bill Basset has nice storage and covered. He is behind the Ice House near Sante Fe Hotel.. Also, Silverking Dry Marina has secured storage which is right on the Malecon..Check both of them out. Somewhere around 100 a month I believe..Also, there is a boat mechanic with storage facilities on the San Javier Road, just as you turn off Highway 1, but not sure what his price is per month..

Second that on Bill Basset. Great guy with a huge yard. Left my 26' there 2 summers ago, short contract, I thought it was 150 per month covered with block wall back.

Thanks for the info everyone; I will contract Bill Bassett; sounds like he's exactly what I am looking for.

Yes, Bill Basset is 150. a month, covered storage and Silverking is full on covered storage units, but for 100 a month you can park it outside in their secured yard. Not sure what the Boat Mechanic charges a month.. Plenty of room for both the boat and car/truck under the roof.

Spoke to Bill yesterday; he's full. Sounds like he would have been the perfect choice. Silverking has one covered spot left so I'm going to check them out along with the Boat Mechanic Fish 101 mentioned when I'm down in a few weeks. May hit you guys up for more ideas if everyone is full; really appreciate these leads!
