I feel I'm slowly getting closer to finding a place, but thought perhaps someone here could help me along...
I would like to find an inexpensive place where I can live for 1-2 months while I look around and find the area and house I'd like to live in long
term. I am thinking between Rosarito (south of Fox studios, maybe bajamar area) and Ensenada, or around there. For long term I have lots of ideas, but
for short term I just need the basics, furnished, have mobile reception, wifi...
I have alerts on Vivanuncios, Trovit, have looked on many websites and contacted a number of realtors, as well as did a search on this site for
"classifieds". When I was driving around the Rosarito, and south of, area I didn't see any "se renta" signs. Granted it wasn't a clear day and so I
didn't explore all that much... but for some reason I thought I'd see a lot of "se renta" signs, especially since it's off season. I know in other
areas of Mexico that's the way to find rentals...
Anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated.

Ask the "For sale" people. many of them will rent ot you for the income.

I know of two, furnished, month-to-month, rental apartments in Playas. Cost between 400 and 440 per month. Wi Fi and cable extra. One right by the
beach, one inland. Come join us in Playas. Love it.

He means Playas de Tijuana. It's an upper middle class TJ delegation. One of the better TJ neighborhoods.

Ah, thank you both.
I'd like to be further south, thinking Ensenada now. So, if you hear of anything... I'll even clean the place really well before I move out, if that
helps talk someone into renting month to month.
