Anyone cross on foot through Otay lately with all the construction? Looks like you can still snake your way across the normal/ready lanes to the
SENTRI side where you can get picked up but just wondering . . .

Not lately but yes in January smuggling toys for the toy drive and man o man, they have made the walk very long in order to get across to get picked
up.
I did ask if this lenghty walk was going to be permanent and they answered yes.
You get to cross to get picked up or get a ride or whatever until you reach the 2 story commercial building and the walkway about 1/4 way south
between Sentri and Ready lanes.
You better have wheels on that luggage, it's a killer carying plastc bags with toys.
San Ysidro is much easier but we have to use both because of the smuggling
