Anyone know any fish markets in San Diego that carry corvina from the upper Sea of Cortez? Gracias

I have never seen corvina (or the unrelated but similar name corbina, croaker, etc.) in U.S. fish markets. I think there is some separation between
sport fish species and commercial fish? I could be wrong and would like to know where these are sold, however!

Seafood city only sells Jap yellowtail 5# or so. Best bet is Catalina Offshore Products. Maybe white Seabass is as close asylum love get. Call them.

Woody is correct - Catalina Offshore Products carries SOC corvina depending on what the supply is.
