I don't know what tonight will bring but last night there was a lot of fire works going on. You should have seen the cat jump when as he was going upstairs a very loud bang went off. He jumped and shot up and under the bed.

Just cleaned my bbq for a little feast later. Watching movies today with the kitties.

It's going to be a stressful night for pets and their owners, and for all the wild critters.

There will be many runaway, lost dogs that bolt out of fear. July 5th is the busiest day for city animal control agencies.

Please don't set off fireworks in your neighborhood.

Rather than venture out into crowded celebrations here in the Boston area, we're staying put and making sure our pooch remains safe and calm.

Happy 4th! Watching minor leage ball with my son and girl with fireworks after.

Just heard on local TV news San Diego cops are giving tickets to people who put up a tent on the beach, during the day!

Happy picnic BBQ 4th of July everyone!

This is one night that Rex will sleep quietly - no celebrations here in La Bocana.....and he (like every dog) hates fireworks. Shakes like a puppy.

More than 50 dogs being housed at San Diego animal shelters due to fireworks

Fireworks are one of my pet peeves, so to speak.

We had a stressful evening/night. Neighbors down the street were setting off firecrackers periodically for a few hours. Our 2 dogs trembled and barked the whole time. Maybe I'll get them some doggie downers next year.
