A UFO hunter using Google Earth has reportedly spotted an “alien city” off the coast of Mexico in the Gulf of California. The enormous structure rests
underwater about 45 miles from the Mexican coastline. Although UFO and alien hunters have “discovered” various large structures on the ocean floor
before, the “alien city” is unique in its sheer size and its adherence to linearity.
The Mirror reported July 23 that YouTube user Mexico Geek had uploaded a video wherein the gigantic outlines of some sort of structure could be made
out between the peninsula of Baja California and the western coast of Mexico. Laid out in long, tube-shaped lines, the so-called “alien city”
stretches for 76 miles (125 kilometers) at its furthest points. It is also roughly 2.4 miles (4 kilometers) wide.
In the video, Mexico Geek spins and zooms toward the underwater “alien city” image to present a close-up view of the discovery. The video then asks if
the images are the remains of ancient roads, the remains of ancient civilizations, or could they be simple faults in the seabed? Mexico Geek measures
the longest part of the structure as 129 kilometers (80 miles).
In a video, titled “Ancient Alien City Found In The Gulf Of California?,” posted by Mister Enigma, a channel dedicated to presenting “the strangest
news on the web,” it is pointed out that the unusual structure “cannot be a natural formation” and that it bears some “resemblance” to the famed Nazca
Lines, the ancient massive glyphs carved into the terrain in the Andes of Peru. The narrator then asks who could have built such a structure — an
ancient civilization, humans, or aliens?
Curiosity and speculative analysis gives way to more certainty, though, at UFO Sightings Daily, a blog operated by UFO hunter Scott C. Waring. Ruling
out the possibility of the structure being constructed by natural forces, he wrote on his blog, “The chances of this being an intellectually made
structure… I put that at 100%.”
Waring has called for further study of the gigantic underwater anomaly, simply due to it being “so close, so accessible.” After noting that aquatic
drones could be used to explore the underwater structure, he went on to suggest, “Maybe the Discovery Channel, History Channel or National Geographic
would fund such a mission and make a show.”
(Note: Waring has a point about the anomaly becoming part of a television show or series. There are several currently extant for which the “alien
city” would likely be considered, such as the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens and Science Channel’s What On Earth? (The latter series actually
explores and investigates strange images discovered via satellite and outside Earth orbit photography.)
The “alien city” discovery is the second massive underwater find via Google Earth in the past few weeks. As the Inquisitr reported earlier in the
month, a “giant pyramid” was found off the coast of Mexico, resting on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. That structure was measured at approximately
8.5 miles in diameter. Although there remains widespread uncertainty as to what the huge pyramidal structure might actually be, it was speculated that
it was artificial, perhaps a giant UFO parked on the ocean floor — or even a UFO mega-base.
The Gulf of California “alien city” now joins the list of other underwater bases or cities that are believed to exist around the world. One of the
more famous and also a product of Google Earth searching rests of the California coast. Known as the “Malibu Anomaly,” it has been posited as some
sort of alien UFO base, although a earthquake geologist David Schwartz of the U.S. Geological Survey told Huffington Post in June, 2014, that he
believed it to be a natural part of the continental shelf. Another underwater base supposedly exists to the south of Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and has
been the site of constant UFO activity, according to a recently published report filed with the Mutual UFO Network in March by a Marine stationed
there in the late 1960s.
While I think it has more to do with the spreading seafloor and Baja moving north and away from Mexico, this is a most fun article! Thank you, Jon for
sharing it!!!

"Spreading sea floor" !!!!! David, next you will be spreading rumours about sea level changes....this has got to stop.
Next will be fish tacos everywhere.....Terry28 - 7-24-2016 at 09:48 AM

Chuckie....did you start happy hour without me? I'll try to catch up.AKgringo - 7-24-2016 at 11:24 AM
Well there you go... that was pulled right off Google Earth, and you can't fake that!
If only some of us knuckle draggers would give up our dirt bikes and 4x4's and get into personal submarines, there would be maps and GPS way points
for that city already.
On a related line of thought, in an attempt to avoid the Sunday dogma my local radio station feels compelled to broadcast, I stumbled on a National
public radio interview. The guest was explaining that through his study and fascination with quantum mechanics, he has determined that we are not in
a 'universe', but a 'multiverse', and there are other realities than the one we choose to view.
Choose? That was his term, it is apparently one more area that is just a matter of choice! I hope he can describe the reality he is viewing, and
maybe get the help he needs, or at least, get some pictures!Udo - 7-24-2016 at 12:04 PM

Ateo I thought you were a pretty solid straight thinking guy. Now I have to wonder if you been listening to much of Coast to Coast AM with George
Noory or reruns of the Art Bell show.

Hilarious Tom! I used to listen to Art Bell back in the day while traversing the Sonoran Desert coming back from Peyote runs on the Mexican Mainland.
But yeah, nowadays I'm a straight thinking guy!

Anyone ever listen to Phil Hendrie do Art Bell?TMW - 7-24-2016 at 07:17 PM
I don't know Phil Hendrie unless he has filled in for Noory. I listen to Coast to Coast every night from 10 to 11, unless it's boring.
Speaking of Art Bell, he was on the air last year with his own show until Oct or Nov. Then a lady replaced him. It had to do with someone threatening
him. The lady was on for about a month or less then it all went away.shari - 7-26-2016 at 08:57 AM
