Help With Quotes

Ken Bondy - 2-1-2005 at 06:19 PM

I've tried everything I can think of and can't figure it out. How do you enter a quote from another post into your post? I see the "Insert Quoted Text" icon but I can't seem to make it work. I am usually not too computer challenged but this one has got me stumped.

It works for me if you hit the "quote" button instead of the "reply" button. Then add your comments.

I just click on the "Quote" bar on the top of your post, then scrolled down to the bottom of the quote in the field that comes up where I normally type my message. Hopefully this works out. ;)

Thanks mucho Frigatebird and jeffg

We've all been to this place at one time or another.

ALSO USE 'SEARCH' on Baja Nomad!

I often will want to find something I posted (or someone else posted) here on Nomad... The Nomad SEARCH feature is great... Just type in the word or words you are seeking, and the person who wrote them (or leave that blank if you don't know or care who posted)... Works great!

BIG THANKS to BajaNomad... DOUG!!!

What if you only want to use a few words of another post? When you click on quote can you edit inside the quote?
