needed: fridge and fan in La Paz

hi all

Alfonso, a sponsored college student just let me know that his fan broke down. He needs a fan - La Paz is far too hot to be without one. Anyone have one they can donate or sell inexpensively? He will be back there Monday Aug. 8th. He spent this summer learning how to build a house with Les. He lucked out since he ate lunch with us every day - he got to try Polish food (bigos) American food (many varied soups) Italian lasagna Brazilian black beans Chinese sweet and sour veggies and Japanese teriyaki chicken. Amazingly, he ate and liked everything. He will be well ahead of the game in International Business, should he ever do traveling with his company after graduating.

and Julian, who went to northern California for the summer, recently moved into a new place and will also be home next Monday - he needs a refrigerator.
