I recall various discussions re: options for getting travel insurance that covers emergency medical treatment and/or providing emergency evacuation in
case of medical problems.
Just found a new company for travel insurance to cover those situations with various deductibles, benefits etc. They call the plan "Outreach
International."
(Basic info for two plans):
Both automatically include:
Medical travel insurance
Medical Evacuation of $500,000 to nearest adequate facility for life threatening medical condition(s)
Return of mortal remains, political evacuation, emergency reunion, terrorism coverage, and many other benefits.
