Two Truck Drivers Arrested

SAN DIEGO -- Border officials arrested two Tijuana truck drivers after discovering tons of marijuana in a tractor trailer rig at the Otay Mesa border
crossing, authorities said Tuesday.
Inspectors discovered 11,733 pounds of the illegal drug hidden in a truck loaded with plaster vases and other commercial items on Friday, officials
with the Bureau of U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
Authorities arrested the driver, a 28-year-old Tijuana man, and the driver of another truck, a 32-year-year-old Tijuana man. Their names were not
released.
