1. Gas prices will rise today in Mexico
Today gas prices will rise after a month of staying level, this according to what was published in the Federal Gazetted, on monthly adjustments in tax
rates.
Magna (regular) will increase 24 centavos to $13.40 per liter (US$2.70 per gallon at an 18.8:1 exchange rate).
Premium will increase 34 centavos to $14.37 per liter (US$2.89).
2. Gas prices will go down in Mexico 1 year earlier than planed.
Instead of the new prices at privatized gas stations taking affect Dec. 31, 2017 they will now become affective on Jan. 1, 2017. Could result in as
much as a 5% price reduction.
3. CFE prices will continue to rise for commercial sector (5-7%) and DAC customers(6.8%)
