Hi gang, has anyone had experience or knowledge of, being the "fideicomisario substituto", (substitute), on a trust and considering a sale after the
partner dies? Do I have to go though having the trust "moved" in to my name, or????... just wondering... thanks, paul

Not sure I understand the question. Are you the beneficiary of a fideo comiso and do you have to transfer it into your name after your partner dies?
is that your question? Pretty much no matter what the question is, you need to ask the question and get the answer from a notario.

Had a friend whose wife passed away, to get her name off the trust and the new wife on several years (not many) cost several thousand dollars...
almost as much as getting a new trust... or that's what we understood from him..
