Advice on Shipping from Los Cabos to the USA

Piter - 10-1-2016 at 12:57 PM

I am moving from Los Cabos back to the states, and I want to ship some of my possessions with me. DHL was extremely expensive. Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative?

We have used Alister Import Export to ships things down a few times and been very happy with them. Give them a call to see what they offer going back north.

Also you can pick-up a Gringo Gazette, there should be some advertisements for other transportation companies.

Good Luck

Monica Page advertises on Baja Nomads and that's where I got her number. Offices in San Diego and La Paz. I only have one quote and don't know how competitive she is. She said 10 days for stuff shipped from SD.

She was prompt with an email when I requested a quote, and answered questions by phone. Said she'd been in biz for about 30 years.

I have used ACV a lot southbound and once northbound and they are excellent. I have no idea how their pricing northbound is. They have warehouses in CSL, TJ and San Diego. Phone/Fax 624-105-0636 and 624-105-1364.

ditto. i use them southbound often. never have tried them northbound. the backhaul rate northbound should be a very competitive market. get on the horn and start asking around. good luck with your move.
