Interesting! 10 years ago you could get a proper black list of bad pemex stations in Mexico. This seems to be the best you can get nowadays?

I just think it is wonderful how they can get 22+ liters in my 20 liter gas can. What a bonus!

Last month, I was pleasantly surprised that I found no "obvious" or "gross" gas pump cheats using my recordings. The only one that seemed a little off
was the Gonzaga Bay station, but I only pumped 32 liters to top off my 80-liter tank, so not conclusive. Heck, if you need gas, and there is no
competition, it is just a thing.
[note: mileages shown are total driven between stations, including side trips, not direct miles between towns]

It's all PEMEX... with another name. PEMEX isn't just a gas supplier...it's the largest and most important money supplier for the government. PEMEX
is the life blood of Mexico.
It's a Plus-Plus for Mexico, since they've sat and watched their fuel industry deteriorate to an archaic point, and they won't be dependent on their
production inabilities any more. They just send their crude north for refinement, and license other names to import the product with heavy import
taxation.
The same dynamic is evident here in Mexico on the streets. The price of gas is high. It doesn't balance with the average wage.
Why? Because PEMEX has all but quit operating gas stations. Now they are franchised, and the profit margin must be bloated to satisfy franchisees
with good profit as well as enticing future investors.
Make no mistake about it. PEMEX isn't just a bunch of gas stations. PEMEX is Mexico
