I have Sky for several years, and they show the NFL, but the pictures are way to old.
How does Dish provide NFL,how often and how many channels....

NFL only on cable because the beam outside of US metro areas do not cover the main networks.
If you bring your receiver for one of those us metro locations then you are good for all the games from that metro location.
If you do not have a metro location then various local providers in mx can set you up with a US billing address in your favorite metro area - like San
Diego.
Direct works the same way
