Do a google search on inm ensenada and you get directions and a map to

INM Instituto Nacional Migratorio
22840, Av Adolfo López Mateos 2025

Hours are 9-1pm get there first thing in the morning for best service you may be required to complete tasks for the process.

You must be aware that if its your first time you would have to go to your closest US based mexican consulate first to get the process started and a sticker placed in your passport prior to check in in Ensenada unless you are renewing the 2, 3 or 4th yearly update.

The easies landmark to spot is the large ENSENADA multicolor sign as you start to enter downtown Ensenada.
When you see the sign, immediately take the right lane.
The immigration office is just down the block.

Better directions are - At the first stoplight (as you enter the downtown business district) turn right onto Teniente Jose Azueta. The INM office will be on your right about 300 feet from the intersection, next to the Port Captain's office

Although INM may have moved the filing for RT/RP to the "main" office on Ave Lopez Mateos

Just so you understand, it is not "filing". What you got NOB at the consulate was just a pre-approval. The real meal deal is when you get to the INM office in Mexico, where you will have to make at least 2 visits, wait for the visa to come through, pay for the visa and get fingerprinted.

Too much wrong info here I want to be sure to pass on correct info, after running all over Ensenada following directions from locals and Nomads, we were finally directed to the Office
at :
INM Instituto Nacional Migratorio
22840, Av Adolfo López Mateos 2025

by a local SCT Guard. Boy this process is alot harder than we were told in Portland, OR Consulate. Not sure what we will do, follow thru or drop it.

Be sure that if you go to INM in Ensenada you go to the address above.

Thanks for all the help offered here. Connie

Information supplied by the various Consulates is spotty and non-consistant.....and at times does not match what the "local" INM office requires

My suggestion is that you contact Carlos Victorica, an INM "Agent/facillator". He has been doing this for a long, long time and if you want it done the right way, it is worth using his service. It's painless and you will be satisfied with the outcome.

Carlos Victorica
Av. Teniente José Azueta 101,
Ensenada Centro,
22800 Ensenada, B.C., Mexico
646 175 7893 carlosvictorica7@hotmail.com

His office is located by the "old" immigration location in the marine/port area
