I'm looking for La Paz accommodation suggestions—hotels & casitas. I would describe my wife's comfort requirements as "medium." She's not one of
those high thread-count, luxury spa types (where the only Mexicans you ever see are the ones who are waiting on you)...but she's 69 yrs. old and needs
more than a hammock on the beach. We especially enjoy on-offs, those unique places that are lovingly designed & managed. We might pay a little
more for that "specialness" factor but not just to be bombarded with "luxury."
La Concha in La Paz (one of the few hotels with a beach). It's a short trip from La Paz centro, but you'll probably need a car unless you want to cab
it.
These all sound good. I'll check them out. Many thanks!
Also, if anyone has a favorite place in a smaller town just up the beach (or down) from La Paz & Loreto, we're open to that notion as well. Ken Bondy - 11-5-2016 at 06:21 AM
La Concha is nice but, as said before, a bit out of town:
Agreed 100% great place to stay and location Highwayman - 11-5-2016 at 09:53 AM
Try Posada de la Misión. It's a courtyard hotel right with a great location on the Malecon. Most units have a small kitchenette as well. Two rooms
upstairs have waterfront balconies.willardguy - 11-5-2016 at 10:00 AM
