I hear from the grapevine that the Mexican government is thinking about a new visa for boaters to come back and forth into their waters daily.
Currently each time you cross their water's border via a boat from the USA and return on the same day the visa you purchased online for about $30 per
person is no longer valid. Therefore, you have to purchase another visa for each person on board each day. Consequently, I no longer fish the
Coronado Islands off TJs coast due to the extra $60-120 daily visa charge per outing.
A 6 month or year visa fee per person (say $200) would be most helpful.
