Please provide any advice & experience on the BC Ferry online ticketing. This will be my 3rd crossing in 5 years. These trips in the past have
required a 1/2 day wasted driving over from La Ventana to Pichelingue simply to get my tickets.

It was no problem for me 2 year ago. Show up at the ferry terminal office with your reservation number/code a few hours early and get your boarding
tickets.
Better than going to Pichilinque is getting your tickets at the office in La Paz. Much less hassle.

Odd... If I click through the English spoken page there is no cabin availability, with the Spanish page I get a cabin.

Call them. They have people who speak English and will send you ticket and cabin confirmation codes by e mail and then just pick the tickets up.
Very easy to deal with!
