I just did a similar job today, me and one worker, arranging the rocks and filling in with cement between them. Took 6 hours, total cost, including worker's pay (700 pesos), my labor, 2 bags of cement and a pile of sand, 2500 pesos.

A good thing about NOB is that usually the street is paved before the driveway is paved :light: :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

And having good building code enforcement ensures better quality construction. Having seen construction in both countries, I appreciate quality construction that meets code and is built to accepted standards. While it might be fun to vent and rant against red tape, sometimes all that red tape makes the end product better :light:

Quality assurance, quality control, code enforcement, building standards, design reviews, permit reviews,... all good things in my book.
