We saw this VDO on the Nautilus Explorer SCUBA boat last month and it is excellent.

I noticed it last night on the local PBS TV station. Fantastic photography

We noticed it was on last night and really enjoyed watching it. Missed the first 15 minutes so will be looking to see it again. I liked that it spent a bit of time on the desert and showed some of the dramatic inland topography, discussed the delicate ecological balance of the peninsula and its surrounding waters. The underwater footage was so lovely. I don't dive, but this program sure made me want to learn!

great video - but not the original imax - seems to be made from left over footage - I would love to get the original - anybody have ideas?

I bought a DVD of "Ocean Oasis" from the San Diego Natural History museum's online gift shop- but this was 2 years ago. Not sure if it was the same as the IMAX version or not.

If anyone can help me find a video copy of the first Imax Baja film (then called 'Omnimax') shown at the Reuben H. Fleet Space Theatre, in 1975. The film was about 20 minutes and the title was 'Viva Baja' (good title eh?)... It was produced in San Diego and made just after the completion of Mex. 1... Filmed mostly from the air and some underwater footage. Good stuff!

I called the place the Fleet theatre gave me for film archives, no luck... Some of you are real good at google searches and the like... I appreciate it!
