From what I have been reading in Mexican publications, PEMEX does not set a minimum gas price that a station can sell the gasoline for. Only the
Maximum.
But if price controls are lifted and not set by the FEDS, perhaps we will see the free market take over and competing stations actually set the price
according to market conditions...high or low.

Time will tell, but the US $ is up about that amount over the last couple years vs the Peso so it may end up roughly the same in terms of buying
power.
