Hey all! First time poster here, I've done some searching on the forum but no real luck my wife and I are looking for a diesel mechanic. Anywhere from
La Paz to Cabo SJ. We're driving a 1999 f250 with the 7.3 and may be experiencing some fuel system issues and or these bumpy roads are taking their
toll. I'll hold off on the details but if anyone has some first hand expierence with a shop we'd love
To here. Also our Spanish is subpar, so that make things fun....👌 I know pa Paz has Ford dealer (on the waiting list for them) and Cabo SL
has an International dealer (made motor for Ford). Servicos diesel Arana came up on the old Google search, any ouch with those?

Welcome to the forum! Are you in the La Paz area right now? I don't think your options will improve in Cabo, but I have never looked for service
down there.
I have needed to find mechanics in La Paz though, and the helpful folks at Campestre Maranatha (approx. km 11, west of town) steered me to the right
shops!
Jose and Cindy know the area, and the camp is a good place to hang out while your truck is getting serviced. One of their guests was able to get his
truck serviced right at the camp.
They have a great coffee shop there, with bakery goods and meals as well. Good luck!

I emailed this person yesterday about buying this truck, but it's not imported, but I'm guessing he has a diesel mechanic?

Twice in last few years, while pulling 5th wheel heading for so cal had problems with 2002 7.3 Diesel. Was able to limp in to Marantha RV La Paz
called Arena cell # 044-612-120-3609 or 612-128 2255. One time fixed at RV PARK next time took truck to shop. Both times had worked checked by ford
dealer in Coos Bay,Or. by there Diesel Mec. Ron, said everything was AOK. Plus we always stay at Marantha on our way north and when we return to BV.

I have used Arana before for my 7.3 when it blew a high pressure oil line o-ring under the manifold. They got the job done for a reasonable price.

Dont hold off on the details. Let's hear (here) them. Be specific on symptoms, including conditions they are occurring. Also, include the truck's
particulars, including mileage.
Why do you think they are fuel related?
