I was walking down the street the other day and I came across a little ol volkswagon bug that was painted from head to toe, end to end with pictures
that looked like they were done by children. Of course, I whipped out my camera from it's holster on my shoulder and shot, after all this is a work of
art.
The owner of this fun little bug was near by and I am sure most use to folks taking pictures of his car, so of course he gave me an adelante gesture
of good will and I snapped a couple of him as well.
Afterwards, we talked a little about the history of this mobil work of art. He has had it for an uncountable amount of years, and long ago named it
after an old radio show -"El Carrito Muscial". I think the show was aimed at kids, but when he sang me a few bars and told me the story of how he had
collected these paintings, well ya-know, enchantment ensued in this grandma's heart and I thought tje heck, best pass on this story of yet another
little every daily miricle to make you smile as well.
Antonio Reyes has children paint a montage of their visions on his car; Just that easy, where ever he goes, he carrys paint and brush in floor of the
back seat and when he finds a kid that needs to play with paint and is drawn to his little bug, the paint and brush is whipped out and painting is
begun. There is a picture of a big texas boot, of course the virgin de Guadalupe is represented on the hood, the sun and trees and stars and many
flowers there too.
Ah but, the ones that most intrigured me came with the story of a child who is blind, has never seen, and here is a perfect rendition of a
orange/yellow daisy painted by her. How did she know how to outline a dasiy if she has never seen is very interesting indeed. Again. I am awakened to
a vision that I had never considered until this day, that a blind person can see with their other sences (most likly in this case, touch, she had
outlined the flower with her finger) and communciate their vision via brush and paint just the way we that have eyes that permit us to see.
Yep, yet again life just continues to amaze me, the simplest every day miricles bring pleasure for my humble need to believe in the everyday magic of
just opening my eyes to see around me as I wander the streets of where ever I be.

Good question Bruce,
I will post here as soon as I get it downloaded from my camera, and included in my yahoo photo files. I will name the album El Carritio Musical so it
shouldn't be to difficult to find. I never have made sence out of attaching pix's to these post.

I have more problems than most in figureing out how to post pictures. I hope this works as an access.
The album is called El Carrito Musical.
The albums in my yahoo file are many, but at least they are set in an alfabetical mode, so just go down to "E" and you should find it.

you have painted a picture with words that engage and enchant.
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures of the painterman and his vehicle.
If eyes are open, then miracles can be seen in the streets of our everyday life, wherever we live.
Thank you, Sara
You are most correct Jan,

and as such, I edited the above, it was awkward anyway, and bothered me, I think it moves a little smoother now, Thanks very much.
Yep, right on, where ever one be, including the KMart parking lot, I expect; if one opens their eyes and simlplify's their expectations, milargos and
magic is everywhere, an everyday event for those of us who choose to accept the simplistiy of the gift.
Today, as I walked by, I spotted what appeared to me to be a stroke victim sitting in a wheel chair at the entry to a doctor's office, there by her
side was a Mongoloid young lady standing stoking the old womans head with the most gentle of carresses, such kindness and love. And I thought how
lucky the old lady was to have someone so simple and patient to watch out for her, how lucky for the young girl to have someone to make her feel
responsible and of use.
Well, that is all it took for me to smile as I walked the rest of the way thru today. Yep, no doubt about it, sure did make me feel proud to be a
humanebeing watching the love between those two.
Saludos, Sara

And yet, another magical tour with you! Thank you again for taking me along. I wish I could see the world thru your eyes. For now, I'm loving every
post and every walk along the path of life you share with us. All is fine here at Mijas. Mi ninieta is so much fun and is the happiest child I have
ever known. She literally sings most of her day. We went to the beach yesterday for her first time since she was an infant and it was a day I will
never forget. A simple sea shell, tiny wave lapping at her little toes, all brought squeals of pure joy. We thought about going to see the whales but
think maybe she is too young to sit still and be quiet for so long. Maybe in another year or two.In the meantime, the weather is perfect and I am
loving Baja! I'll be back in May or June to help them in Cabo. We will see each other then, my friend. Keep sending your "walks, days, sights and
insights " to us, please! We are most fortunate to have them ! Abrazos, Sally
