South San Quintin, tires burning blocking 1 North. 3 more road blocks getting to Colonet. Long detours if you were lucky. 4 hours sitting. I got through, those behind me didn't.

Stayed in Vicente Guerrero 3/13-3/15.
I was wondering why and suspicious of the lines at the gas stations in the area, the only place we saw lines. I asked if something was up but just got a shrug.
I think the locals were anticipating this and wanted to keep their cars tanked-up.

If you use (the still under construction) MX 5 you will miss the area completely. Keep your fuel tank topped-up and should not be a big deal.

The roads are blocked at numerous places in San Quintin. The protests are for the 2 year anniversary of the farm labor strike. Has nothing to do with gasoline. For the latest updates from on site people. Go to TALK BAJA.
