Baja Adventure March 2017

Pappy Jon - 3-23-2017 at 06:02 PM

I spent 10 nights as remote as I possibly could. Mostly on Bahia San Rafael, but also a few other places. Enjoy the pics, starting with the sunsets.

On to the sunrises.

This was a great year for flowers. Lots of brittlebush, lupine, sand verbena, and evening primrose.

Oops, forgot a sunset.

Is that Passiflora palmerii in your avatar? From the Loreto area?

Yes, to Passiflora palmeri. No to Loreto. I usually photo it south of Bahia de los Angeles. My favorite Baja flower.

Jon, Jack is a retired biology professor and you may inspire him to seek the northernmost sample of that passionflower?

You may know that Jack is one of the prime mission history people in Baja. He is certified with INAH to take photos at any historical site and his photos are included on our Baja Mission web page and in my 2016 book.
