Hector's memorial origin story

LukeJobbins - 4-11-2017 at 06:20 PM

Now there are several memorials along the hwy but back quite a few years ago the biggest and most recognized was Hector's. Anyone have the history on it and why it was made so much bigger and more permanent than the others? Just a solid following of him or was there something special? Thanks

Rumor has it he had a BIG loving family who could afford such a grand shrine to a good man.

Often stop to view these...memory fades and I can't remember this one. Must mean I need to take a drive.

You would remember Hector. Hector was a truck driver.
