Road is in good condition most of the way, with new payment before Gonzaga . There are some sections with BAD pot holes before San Felipe.
Outside of La Paz there are a few dirt detours.
Beaches in Bahia Concepcion were full with Semana Santa families.
They are making progress on the gravel stretch from Chapala to where the new pavement begins. Lots on non 4x4 cars were easily getting through.
Cirrios and Toronte trees were in bloom , stunning..
Crossing in Mexicali uneventful, but some slow in the morning when I went through.
Several checkpoints were in operation, with the one outside of San Ignacio being the most through. They went through all bags, took down license plate
#, year of car and my name. But very courteous.
Feliz Viaje!!
