BBC anywhere in Baja?

BajaBlanca - 4-24-2017 at 07:33 PM

Until this week, BBC channel was included in our SKY universe package but it just got removed and we are really missing it.

It still has my Brazilian Globo channel (the reason we signed up in the first place).

Does anyone in Baja get BBC ?

No BBC in Baja so it seems. Very bummed indeed.

Get a Smart TV with a youtube app and watch via your Inet connection. I have a Vizio E-Series Smart TV, works great.

WHAT!!!! no Fawlty Towers or Benny Hill???

TedZark - 4-25-2017 at 06:19 PM

You can watch BBC online if you have internet. I suspect you can catch it live or all the various shows on demand. Same with NHK.

RTV.com is real fun too if you like alternative news from the Ruski perspective.

Exactly.

TedZark - 4-25-2017 at 06:35 PM

Geez, too bad. I think they no longer live stream. And their website now is full of crap headlines like, "The unknown secrets of ____".

Too bad. Another icon down the drain.

But you can, at least, watch different programs on demand.

BajaBlanca - 4-26-2017 at 10:31 AM

We have a smart TV but with our ridiculously slow internet service, Les reckons we can't watch via the internet.

BBC has many options when I do a ROKU search...

BajaBlanca - 4-26-2017 at 05:07 PM

I looked up ROKU and it seems to me our internet is too slow to stream anything.

chuckie - 4-26-2017 at 05:31 PM

It might be, but the ROKU box (here) is only 29.00 US with no other fees so you aren't risking much..

It will only work at 3 or 4am in Bocana (on the good days). You know how I get my tv when I am there Blanca. ;)
