It's been a while since I posted, but here is one of my favorite Baja rock art images, taken deep in Valle de los Cirios.
I like this because it juxtaposes some of the classic abstract geometry of northern Baja petroglyphs against the typically surreal Valle de los Cirios
surroundings - a wind-blown and half-scorched grove of palm trees just beginning to be illuminated by the rising sun...
Anyway, hope you enjoy, there are many more shots like this in my new photography book 'Baja's Wild Side: A Photographic Journey Through Baja
California's Pacific Coast Region'. Check it out!

Wow. The lighting in the Baja desert is just a little different than anywhere else. IMHO.

Somehow spectacular doesn't seem to come close to describing how beautiful your photography is.
We are on our way to San Diego soon and I am going to make it a point to go see the exhibition. Are there any days that you plan on being there next
week?
Thanks so much for sharing and for Pete's sake, post more often!

It was nice to meet author (and Nomad) Dan 'dcartami' yesterday at the book event in San Diego! His photo book of Baja's Wild Side is beautiful!
The event was packed!
