Leaving San Felipe, we stopped by McDonalds for lunch. This place is really good service and freshest food ingredients. About 3 miles out of north
bound. The future?

I'll have a McFish Taco please!

David - Only had one Baja McDonald experience, but they said policy was no Baja McDonalds carry fish. Only pollio y hamburgesas.

It was a sad, sad moment for me too, Pompano. Visiting a gringa friend who wanted "the experience"; I was hungry enough I could have knawed my own
arm off... still resisted the entrees and had a coke. But it was one of the places I'd have thought they'd have a fishburger, if you get my drift.

I think you are seeing mirages.

I don't think we'll be stopping at that new McDonolds; I see that there is no PlayLand.

I have to agree with Pompano, I don't eat at McDonalds in the states. With all the wonderful foods of Baja I just can't see McDonalds. I did finally
go into a Waldos mart It was fun.

I avoid McKee Dee's at all costs in the states and I have a firm 'no way in h_ll' policy about eating American FF any place in Mexico. Sure it is
fine, just never been that desperate.

I remember a couple years ago, returning to La Paz to find a Burger Whopper right there front and center on the Malecon in the middle of the historic
district.
I was astonished and saddened.... but when I said that on Fred's board, many people turned out to accuse me of not wanting Mexican kids to have what
American kids have. Shame on me.... I never saw fast food as something Americans should be proudly sharing with the world.
On the other hand - Packy - that particular Burger Whopper has a big playhouse with a container of those plastic balls for kids to jump and play and
urinate in. Saw it through the window when I walked by. Have fun!

10-15 yrs ago, I would eat at Burger King and Dennys down on the Revoluccion in Tijuana with my friends on most weekends. The food was just better
there than most 'Taco' stands in el centro de Tijuana. When me and the guys finished a trip to Mikes Sky Ranch, we wanted to eat someplace in
Mexicali (in August) that was Air Conditioned, had clean restrooms, and plenty of parking for our 4WDs. So, we stopped at McDonalds and filled up.
We got our food fast, knew what to order, and quickly made it to the US border. In San Felipe, I prefer to eat chips & salsa to support the familys'
businesses rather than McDonalds Corp.
