sounds like this is day 1 of your first trip to baja and you are already moving in! go a bit further and check out la paz before your settle on mulege. la paz has a bit more happening. mulege is for barfly fishermen. if you dont fish and have an alcohol problem, you might get bored in mulege!

I hope you realize it gets HOT, HOT, HOT in Mulege in the summer.

Looks like it's going to cool off to 82.............TONIGHT

If you stay there try to get a room with AC that works.

Tropical storms, insects, high humidity..........

Consider the Pacific coast for the summer, perhaps Bahia Asuncion.

a friend of mine did like you are wanting to do her first time here and was very sorry she rented in Mulege as she had no idea how awfully hot it is...why not 6 months there and 5 6 months over here on the cool Pacside. There are rentals for as low as $350 a month for a house a block from the beach.

LISTEN To Shari...Good advice...

I wouldn't lock myself into a one year lease....there's not a big rental demand this time of year. Rent for a month, if you love it lease it but if you don't you can move on.
