Where are the absolute Cheapest Rural Casitas in Mexico?

Kola - 6-28-2017 at 02:47 PM

I'm looking to get away from civilzation, basically.

Reqs:
$500/mo. or less.
No neighbors (within an acre - prefer rural, not a neighborhood).
Electricity.
A/C.
Tile floor (Don't like carpet or plastic, prefer primitive construction).
In range of a Verizon Tower (for internet).

Caveat: My Fico is 560 (About $4k in debt).

Are there places anywhere in Mexico that meet this criteria? I can provide more information if needed.

Thanks,

Kola

The $500 dollar amount should easily suffice,

the other conditions questionable. ( especially Verizon tower )

Kola - 6-28-2017 at 03:21 PM

Huh, I just checked and see Verizon coverage in Mx is not great (relative to their US coverage).

I don't need a Verizon Tower, but internet of some kind. :) Could be cell internet, or wired. Doesn't have to be Verizon :)

This sounds like that same phony that asked the same questions a lil while back...

Reqs:

$500/mo. or less - Doable (see below)

No neighbors (within an acre - prefer rural, not a neighborhood) - Doable
however land is in hectares

Electricity - maybe not if you want rural and no neighbors

A/C - probably not (see electricity above). Air conditioning eats electricity and electricity is VERY expensive....unless you go solar, and that is also expensive

Tile floor (Don't like carpet or plastic, prefer primitive construction) - If you prefer primitive and are lucky enough to find something, the floor may be dirt

In range of a Verizon Tower (for internet) - Not much of a chance for that with your rural requirement - and by the way, Verizon sucks in Baja

Caveat: My Fico is 560 (About $4k in debt) - pretty much nobody cares about your FICO

Have you ever been to Mexico????....Baja???

Under two beer bridge, south of El Rosario, comes close...

You could easily rent a hotel room for 500 a month. Doesn't meet all your requirements I know.

Yea, I sem to remember some hermit dude, think he was hiding from someone...wonder if the 500 is for room and everything else, christ the A/C could eat a chunk of the small amount...And why would anyone announce such a pitiful FICO score?

Head on down and look at just about any fish camp with a casita. Huge number of choices all along both east and west coast.
Internet? Yes, via satellite. However most all fish camps are off grid so solar will be your choice and use up some of your funds.
If you demand grid power you will have a much harder finding what you want.
