Russ - 7-6-2017 at 01:34 PM

Northern influence

Bob and Susan - 7-6-2017 at 02:09 PM

I got 107f over here at 3pm

David K - 7-6-2017 at 02:31 PM

Warmed up today over yesterday, here, as well.
I think we call it "summer"!
Stay cool Russ and Bob!

Bob and Susan - 7-6-2017 at 06:05 PM

actually it's 80f inside...but we use the AC...I guess russ doesnt

shari - 7-6-2017 at 06:14 PM

yay...finally summer is here...I was in the pool yesterday for the first time...still had to use 2 light blankets to sleep though but have now officially stored my down blanket...hahaha. It was about 80 here in Asuncion but cooled off when the wind blew off the cold water this afternoon.

Russ - 7-6-2017 at 08:12 PM

Had generator problem today when I tried to fire up the AC.

Marc - 7-7-2017 at 07:02 AM

Are you guys complaining?: It's 118º in Palm Springs.:(:(

Why, it's so hot I just saw a fire hydrant chasing a dawg... :o

woody with a view - 7-7-2017 at 11:00 AM

75 and partly cloudy in Coronado!

StuckSucks - 7-7-2017 at 11:02 AM

Tomorrow we are driving to Mammoth Lakes. It's supposed to be 111º in Santa Clarita, then around 100º all the way up 395. In Mammoth, we will see mid and upper 70s - perfect mtb weather.

vandenberg - 7-7-2017 at 11:50 AM

88 degrees on my front porch here in Loreto Bay with a nice breeze blowing.

willardguy - 7-7-2017 at 12:54 PM

was surprised yesterday with a nice little rain shower in Rosarito!

Russ - 7-7-2017 at 02:45 PM

I moved the weather station this morning. It's now clear of any obstructions and the wind reading are more realistic. What a difference 12º makes with some wind. My generator mechanic is a no show so far but really don't need it today for the AC.

edit: If you look at the weather icon, above the temp reading, it shows rain. Also notice the barometer arrow pointing down. For some reason I have good weather when the barometer is falling here. The sky is clear now.

something is WRONG with your outside unit...its 114f here

Bob and Susan - 7-7-2017 at 03:33 PM

3:31 AM...ok ...88f at NIGHT is correct

Russ - 7-7-2017 at 03:57 PM

Funny, I just noticed the clock is 12 hours off. The on shore wind during the summer is what makes Chivato unique and cooler. Except when there is a North influence then it's hot but dry. Here's where the monitor is now.

Meany - 7-7-2017 at 04:24 PM

Russ. I will be there Monday. Will Bring cooler weather from California.:biggrin::biggrin:

Russ - 7-7-2017 at 05:19 PM

Thanks! Sabollo just showed up and took the Honda 3000 and we tested the 2000 and it ran the AC fine today. Safe journey!

BigBearRider - 7-7-2017 at 08:50 PM

A Honda 2000 ran your AC?!?! What size AC do you have, Russ?

I haven't used the AC all week. The fans have been enough. Today, it was very nice with the on-shore breeze in the afternoon.

Russ - 7-8-2017 at 01:00 AM

BigBearRider, yes and 1/2 ton mini split. Just trying to be ready for when i really want a cool down. It's like a vacation sometimes to just be cold for awhile.

Pescador - 7-8-2017 at 09:34 AM

Lynne has a mini-split and a 2000 runs it fine. You start it in full speed, turn on the air, then set the temp as low as it will go, like 16 degrees C, then you flip to economy and it runs well. We have an auxiliary tank but can usually run all night on economy with no problems.
