Where & what office can i get my tip deposit back inMexicali from my mainland trip on the ferry? When I got back to La Paz they said I had to get
my $300.00 deposit back at the border when I left Mexico but couldn't tell me where.

You should be able to return the TIP at the port of entry where you can also get one. Go to Aduana at the border San Ysidro El Chaparral or Mexicali
West port of entry.
