Daggetts BOLA

We stayed at Daggetts in Bahia de Los Angeles . Right on the beach just North of town. We stayed in the hotel but there were some folks camping as well. Great rooms and ice cold A/C and a good price. Thank you to Woody with a view for the suggestion. Ruben is super cool and we will definitely stay there again.

I stayed there for one night, three years ago. I liked the place, and will use their facilities again, but I happened to be car camping close to the main building on the night of a fiesta.

It wasn't rowdy, but the volume was pretty high for quite a while. It was enjoyable music, so I didn't feel a need to move to a more distant site.

Even with the party going on fifty yards away, a coyote was bold enough to try and raid my ice chest next to my car. I could have smacked him with the car door he was so close!

I stayed there last year dur1ng the NORRA 1000. Overall, I liked the place and will likely return in the future. Great location, clean rooms, nice people. One small snivel...some people in my group complained that the shower heads were clogged in all three of our rooms. Only one or two small streams came out, all going in different directions. This resulted in a fine mist of a shower at best. Hey, this is Mexico! We cleaned them up, and the showers worked great after that.

Nothing personal about Daggetts, but I stayed there 3 years ago and wasn't all that impressed. Had to fix the toilet after each flush so it wouldn't run, the shower didn't work and it was noisy and buggy. I can't remember how much it was, but thought it was overpriced for what it was. Oh well... I'm used to staying in some dumps too! haha

We always carried a spare shower head in Baja just for situations like this. Often the shower heads are missing----stolen, I suspect.
