Did you find any fish fossils?

What beautiful petroglyphs, I had no idea.

Keep sharing your adventures, please.

Story about Jackson back in the 60's:

A friend of mine in Newport Beach, Ca, liquidated his property......house etc, and relocated to Jackson, Wyo with his family and a bag of cash which he took to the one local bank to open an account. Bank said, "glad to have you as a customer."
He says.....how much interest do you pay on savings accounts? [did I mention the 60's]
"Interest? We don't pay any interest. If you want to leave your money in a safe place, leave it here. If not....bury it in your yard."

He opened an account. Good thing 'cuz he didn't know which end of a shovel to hold.

Blanca - I paid for one hour at the quarry - you get the gloves, pick and chisel; got a 15 min. lesson and was left on my own. In that hour, I found about a dozen. I wasted part of my hour scoring and trimming the slabs (my checked bag weight was 47 lbs, so I didn't want to go over the 50 lb limit). I ended up putting them all in my carry-on.) Then he tells me he could cut them to whatever size I wanted on his circular saw ("all part of the package"). I ruined a couple trying to score/break them. Being right at this ancient lake bottom finding the creatures that lived there 5 million years ago was extraordinary. Kemmerer is the fish fossil capital of the world.
