Does anyone know if it is possible get from san francisquito to San Ignacio along east coast side. Did it once on a motorcycle but heard it is very
rough now.

if you have a 4x4 it's an easy drive. Bring extra gas. 2 days if you are careful. Done it many times. I can provide GPS if you like

I do not think I have given out the following?
The main issue other than the rocky place between Trinidad and El Gato is fuel. Get gas going south at LAB and top odd at Beto's place in
Francisquito if he has any, then fill up in San Ignacio. On previous trips with Jeeps the guys said to plan on 30 gallons, but your plan obviously
would be different. I also have several GPS tracks if you need them. Here are mileages:
San Felipe N Pmex to Chapala = 141mi per track log
Chapala to LAB turn = 30mi per AAA map
LAB turn to LAB = 41mi per AAA map
….Total so far 212 mi (2wd highway and a little dirt) (get gas)
LAB to El Barril = 83.7 mi per AAA map – (2wd slow)
El Barril to Trinidad =49mi per track log – (possible 4low and slow)
Trinidad to El Gato = 10.5mi per track log – (4low and slow)
El Gato to San Ignacio = 62mi per track log – (2wd graded road and highway)
….Total from LAB to San Ignacio = 205.2 mi (get gas)
I also have the SPOT WPs from the NORRA research track from Hwy 1 at km189 (the turnoff to El Arco) all the way to Francisquito in case you want to go
that way. That part of their trip was pretty much a no brainer. The NORRA guys made the trip in a late model Land Rover from Francisquito to S Ignacio
in 12 hours including some very slow effort in the hard place mentioned. They had two Jerry cans for aux fuel.
Anyway, I am planning that No Wimps trip after the Baja 1000 in November in case anyone wants to join us.

Thx for all the info. I have tracks from my motorcycle ride but thinking of taking polaris rzr over it and heard rumors it is very tough to do now
because of water from storms,

We did it last Dec. and again in April. When you first get to the ocean the road is out across an arroyo. There is a short bypass that takes you down
to the beach and across the arroyo and up the other side. Lots of loose rocks. We were in trucks, two Tacomas and one FORD F150. We aired the tire
down to about 15-18 lbs and had no problems.
After the rock corral at Los Corrales you drop down onto the beach for a ways and it can be confusing on where to get back up if there are no tracks.
The real test is from the ocean area west to El Gato. Best to follow a GPS track but be prepared to get out and scout ahead. In Dec we had the tracks
of the NORRA guys that Paul mentioned above and even then we lost the track on the lose rocks at times. In April we had the GPS track of a Nomad who
did it last Oct and again we had to get out and survey the area to find the trail.
On both trips I carried two 5 gal. gas can in my Tacoma and in Dec. I used both getting to San Ignacio with 1/4 tank left. In April I only used one
can.
