We will soon be travelling to our place in BA
Our route is from Twin Falls, down thru Vegas, on to Yuma, and cross at Tecate.
I need to stock up on some fishing tackle on the way.
Is there a place on this route that is the "go to" tackle shop?
I need things like rappelas and salas jigs. some plastics, and some
other lures that might catch my eye.
I'm looking for a place that doesn't rape you on prices.
Directions to such an elusive shop would be a plus.
Where do you go?? Alan - 10-15-2017 at 07:31 AM
Bass Pro Shop Las VegasTimo1 - 10-15-2017 at 07:35 AM
I tried finding BPS in Vegas a couple years ago.
Even the cop at the gas pump looked at me like I was from Mars
when I asked him for directions.
Got frustrated and moved on.55steve - 10-15-2017 at 07:39 AM

They just opened a Sportsman's Warehouse in Yuma. chitloads of fishing tackle. It's in the big mall off 16th/95. Where the big water tanks and the
McDonalds is, turn left (east) on 16th, then left into the shopping center.

BPS is right off the 15 as you head into town. You can't miss it. How a local cop wouldn't know that is pretty bizarre.

I ordered a bunch of things directly from Rapala....ez pz.Timo1 - 10-15-2017 at 01:16 PM
Shari I'll get what I can
John thanks for that and will check it out for sure.bajabuddha - 10-15-2017 at 02:57 PM
Timo, I order all my lures online before I leave (if you have enough time that is). Nothing worse than being in transit, finding a store and also
finding understocked items. Amazon, Rapala, Cabelas, they all deliver. Cabelas has a reward program for their credit card that makes a good dent in
prices too. CaboMagic - 10-16-2017 at 07:41 PM
In Las Vegas Bass Pro is connected to Silverton Casino ..
Very large ..
btw - LV has been really stung and in mourning these last two weeks .. so if you encounter any Metro or Bombero please give them at least one thumbs
up - these guys work their you-know-whats off to keep residents and visitors safe. Thanks for allowing me the moment here .. LG wilderone - 10-17-2017 at 07:56 AM
Squidco in San Diego is known for its selection. They take online orders. they have Salas 6x blue/White $7.99/ea
You will find much better stuff in San Diego, especially at the the landings. Bass Pro Shops is generic and you won't find what I consider the really
good stuff (feathers, swim baits...) I do on line shopping too.

You better confirm with Juan about Salas 6X. They usually prefer Salas 6X Junior. I think size matters in this case (other cases too, shari - 10-20-2017 at 03:06 PM
you are correct Igor....6x JUNIORS heavy deep water type and only blue and white are getting fish.....proven again today at San Pablo where these kids
jigged up some nice YT! They are on their way to Argentina!

I do not think BPS sells Salas saltwater jigs. Same with Cabelas.
Order online from Charkbait in So. Cal., or stop by. Salas 6x junior- $6.88.MMc - 10-20-2017 at 06:12 PM
