... in a light rain a few miles south of Rosarito, there was a Toyota Tacoma, medium grey, with a pop-up camper attached that was covered with stickers; "Baja.net", "Viva Baja" and too many others to record while passing.

What Nomad could that be?

And I wish them, "Buen viaje". :saint: :saint: :saint:

Well, Neal Johns' Tacoma is blue with a pop up...

He and Marian did leave today to photograph flowers, but definately no Baja.net sticker.

Viva Baja yes, Baja.net no.

Here's the front of it...

David, your picture post looks exactly like the rig I saw today traveling south to adventure.

I can testify that the (very many) stickers I saw on the camper had; "Baja.net" and "Viva Baja", but I can't report anything more about the many others decorating the cabover popup because we were being blown this-way-and-that by the crosswinds.

BTW, since midnight, Tues., 22 Feb 05, Baja Norte, our spot on the coast has had more than 1" of rain. :O :O :O

Los Angeles has had over 8" of rain since this storm started last Thursday.

Yesterday was trash day and on my way home in the evening I saw three 30 gal trash cans floating by along the curb edge as the torrential rain poured down. They went at least 100 ft ...

That was me! Trip report and pics soon. Just got back last night. Otay crossing was a zoo at two!

DK: Found a great old road that recrosses the arroyo umteen times and is hard to see. Take the Yubay road but keep going straight to the "mountains of palms" you found, turn left up the arroyo sandwash that the downhill dumps you into and you are in for a wild ride for the next several miles! This arroyo is the same one you park in to hike to Tinaja Yubay, just futher north. Did not get to end. Chickened out because I was alone.
