Going SB at Mexicali for the first time and 1 in our group is buying their FMM online. Must select which crossing and I haven't a clue as to which
the west one is (Hiway 111). Website says Mexicali 1 & Mexicali 2.
Anyone know?Sr.vienes - 1-26-2018 at 05:51 PM
Mexicali I is West and II is the newer East crossing.Santiago - 1-26-2018 at 05:53 PM
Turns out it doesn't matter - as long as the city is correct you can name any crossing on the application. I need to learn to read ALL the
instructions.David K - 1-26-2018 at 06:38 PM
This came up before, and yes, it is #1 (the original border there and at the end of CA 111 in Calexico).gringorio - 2-22-2018 at 04:48 PM
This is so cool, just got my FMM online! Sure saves one stressful stop. Thanks everyone for the information in this thread!

Stressful?

I crossed at Mexicali west/1 last year on a Sunday before Thanksgiving. The total crossing time, including getting the FFM was about 15 minutes.
They even filled out the form, and took my payment right there.
It was good to stretch my legs!David K - 2-22-2018 at 05:17 PM

No, no... You STILL must stop, get out, walk to the officer, and VALIDATE your online FMM (stamp)!!! There is almost no saving of time and hassle by
getting a pre-paid one online as it is no good until stamped when you enter Mexico.
